Let's talk about fandom.
Sometimes, I don't think I'm really ever part of a fandom. I'm a fan, yes. I splurge my hard-earned money on collectibles, DVDs, CDs and any merchandise of a particular fandom. I've had my own contribution of uploads, fics and RPGs. Sometimes, you'd want to pack your bags and leave a fandom. Why? I've never liked those people who think they're the most important thing in fandom other than the fandom itself. I think they make the fandom go down. All fandoms have that which is why I am contented being a quiet person living in a small corner in a fandom with my close friends.
I'm really blessed to have met a lot of people because of fandom. Majority of them have been my closest friend for years now. But then, some of them will really give you a headache. Just because they have more talent and more money than others, does that mean it gives them the right to put some people down? Whatever happened to being one community, happily giving love to a common interest?
Sure, there will be bimbos in a fandom. I'd rather deal with bimbos than deal with the bitches. At least, bimbos would have their stupidity as their excuse. What's the excuse of bitches?
Bitches in fandom will never stop. Heck, I'm friends with some of them. My disapproval lies in their disregard of people's feelings. The internet is such a fascinating place. Bash someone/something and you wouldn't know that your closest friend is already hurting because you bashed that someone/something that they liked.
If you want to disagree with this entry, go ahead. I won't take it against you. Contrary to other people, I can control my anger and my patience is infinite. I won't let a simple disagreement to this entry ruin our friendship. But if it did offend you in any way, I am sorry. Just needed to let it out. My friends have been offended way too much and I just wanted to post something about it. :)
